Q: Diet foods?
What are some foods that are easy to make or buy that are really good for diets? Besides salads and the obvious. Like for example i heard that a whole artichoke only has 25 calories, does anyone know any more?
A: Alright, here are some healthy fat burning foods you should try:
Citrus Foods are a safe bet. Things like oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, lemons, and limes has tons of Vitamin C, which has a fat burning quality by reducing it's contents or diluting and liquefying fat. Try it in every meal and snack!
For example, pink grapefruit only has 40 calories for a half serving! Eat it as it is for breakfast, or toss it into a salad with spinach! Spinach, by the way, is powerful! with only 13 calories for two cups of chopped raw spinach, this fat-burning vegeatable can be eaten raw in salads, steamed as a side dish, or sauteed in a bit of olive oil!
Oh wait! Olive oil is also useful in diet foods! Even though a tablespoon is 125 calories, but drizzled on a 13 calorie spinach salad with a little lemon juice and some garlic, and you have a healthy meal with less than 150 calories!
Whole grain breads, a biggie! If you're on a 1500 calorie day diet, than about 900 calories should come from grains, fruits, and veggies! Replace those white bread slices with half a cup of oatmeal or whole grain cereal, and you'll feel fuller too!
Fish!!! Eat at least three servings of fish per week! Because it has omega 3, it will try to build cells from other fatty acids! yay! So you are replacing your portions of meat with fish, not adding them to what you already eat!
Soybeans contain a lot of lecithin, which prevents fat from forming on your cells, and breaks down fatty deposits in your body! Eat it at least three times a week and you'll be thin in no time!
Apples, Berries, and Fresh Fruit is awesome! Apples contain a lot pectin (as well as most berries and fresh fruit), which helps release fat deposits accumulated in cells. Add applesauce, apples, fresh fruit and berries to your diet every day!
Okay, I know it sounds a little gross but Garlic Oil can help. The juice of garlic has a significant protective quality to cells which help reduce fatty deposits. Anything with garlic helps brings down the levels of fat (as well as keep those vampires away!)
I hope I helped! Good Luck!
Q: I need a good grocery store prepacked foods diet to follow?
I am a lover of prepacked foods. Why, because they are quick and easy. I can stuff them in my purse and go. I am a single mom to a 6 year old and we are always on the go. Q: What diet foods can I feed my manly man?

I'm trying to get on a iron rich, vitamin E,C diet and I can't afford expensive meals for the two of us. im looking for grocery and meal ideas to satisfy both of our tastes.he always complains that the salads are like appetizers.
A: Actually, you don't need to "diet" in fact to lose weight, I read this at the site in the box below, they have plenty of tips, I lost 10 pounds by using their methods.

Q: RAW FOOD DIET: How do I start a high raw foods diet like the one Kris Karr from Crazy Sexy Cancer is on?
I can't really figure out how to get started. There is too much info on her websites to sift through. Can anybody tell me how to get started on a raw foods diet. What books do I get, products do I need, etc...
A: When I was a kid my Mom started eating the raw food diet, and she was extreme about it from the start. She ate nothing but fruit and veggies for 2 years and lost 100 and so pounds. I starved as a child in the house, and often would steal money from her purse to go eat out places, because I was only about 10 years old. She tried to pursue her kids to eat like that, but instead I gained all the weight eating whatever I could outside the house. She eventually had many health problems, and looked like a ghost in the face, so her doctor told her to start eating dairy's, and she read up on it like crazy and decided that her diet did call for it. Now she is over weight though because she got into a accident that makes it impossible for her to move, and work off the weight, and she is now on this meats, eggs, cheese diet that is slowly working for her, but I think in the long run the weight will stay off, and she can still full and healthy proteins.
I wouldn't recommend going fully raw foodiest, unless your committed to do it for the rest of your life! Because as soon as you start eating normal foods again the weight will slap right back on!
Q: What foods will fill me up on a liquid diet?
I am going to be on a liquid diet for two weeks after dental surgery and then on a 'soft' food diet afterwards for another two weeks. What foods would be reccommended besides baby food?
A: Baby food is awful, go with blended cream based soups. Like blended baked potato soup, or cream of broccoli. Fudge pops, jello and pudding.
Q: What are some good fast food diet foods?
I am fourteen, and my family does not cook at all what so ever.
we eat fastfood every single day. and i want to start a diet but eat better foods for me.
that have low calories
low cholesterol
low sugar
high protein
etc.
A: well wendys has some good salads if you don't eat the dressing.

Q: What foods should be included in a diet for someone with low magnesium?
I am putting together a food plan for someone with a low magnesium level. They take tablets for this, but Id like to enhance their diet with foods that will improve this situation. Particularly foods that are low GI. Any suggestions?
Thanks =]
A: Green vegetables such as spinach are good sources of magnesium because the center of the chlorophyll molecule (which gives green vegetables their color) contains magnesium. Some legumes (beans and peas), nuts and seeds, and whole, unrefined grains are also good sources of magnesium [5]
Q: Anyone know any easy to make healthy diet foods?
My girlfriend is very concerned of her own weight. So she's become a bit anorexic, even though now she's become skinny. She still thinks she's fat and continues to not eat. She wants to eat healthy and all, but I barely know any foods. I don't mean to brag about what I just said, but that's the background information. So knowing that, I feel that I must do something and I thought of this. So does anyone know any easy to make healthy diet foods? Please include the recipe if you can.
With all appreciation,
Evan
A: avoid anything with high frictose corn syrup and also anything with calories from fat... salads are great but get low cal dressings (there are even no cal dressings if you can find them), chicken breasts are really good, no fat milk and milk smoothies (toss in fruits but not smoothie mix) are good, fruits & vegetables (zuchini, melons, strawberries, all types of yummy tasty stuff) non-breaded shrimp (sauces tend to be low cal), and you can find a lot more
don't worry about recipes, she will likely not like anything with a lot in it, plain chicken breast fillets are yummy, a lot of foods are fine if you take the time to read labels and not get the bad stuff
also note: foods with high frictose corn syrup tend to be bland and without flavor, also calories aren't so bad or scary if they contain little to no calories from fat
I try to avoid eggs, cheese, and nuts all of which fail my stringent criteria
Q: Is it possible that I can actually gain weight by going on the raw foods diet?
I'm not planning on switching to the raw diet to lose weight, but I'm worried about the high fat content of a lot of the "permitted" foods (especially the nuts). I really like nuts and since they seem the most filling (although I know they are not necessarily), I'm scared that I'll be eating to many of them and gaining weight. Has anybody tried the raw diet before? Did you actually gain weight? Did you limit the amount of nuts you ate (and if so, by how much)?
A: I have tried this diet, and YES you will gain weight if you overdo it with the nuts. Even though nuts are healthy fats and good for the heart, calories are calories and too much of anything will cause you to gain weight of course. If you feel you need them, just have a few with every meal. Fill up on salads or fruits, and then treat yourself to a few nuts a few times a day. This way you won't feel deprived and end up eating way too many more than you should in the end.
It is totally possible to keep the raw lifestyle, it just takes dedication, and the health benefits I think outweigh its difficulty beginning the diet in the long run.
Good luck!
Q: If you are on a gluten free diet, what foods do you miss the most, and what have you replaced them with?
I eat a gluten free and wheat free diet, but I really miss fresh white french bread, still warm from the oven. I have replaced this with Sainsburys 'Free From' Part Baked Baguettes, which go some of the way to satisfying my craving.
What foods do you miss, and more importanly what have you found you can eat similar, but gluten free, that replaces it?
A: White bread, brown bread, french bread, Irish soda bread, raisin bread, sour dough bread, banana bread, lemon poppy seed bread, potato bread, Indian fry bread, toasted bread, rye bread, povatitsa bread, corn bread, moldy bread, sandwich bread, sweet bread, and communion bread. I've replaced them with EnerG foods rice bread as it's the only one available where I live and it's just nasty. Good Luck and God Bless
Q: What are some good, lowfat diet foods?
I want to go on a diet. What are some good diet foods I can eat to lose some pounds? Please add the calories of the food specified, if you know. Thank you!
A: When it comes to diet foods, there is a lot of personal taste and opinion that comes into the picture. What is a favorite diet food for one person is a no go area for another. A food that can be an important part of a weight loss diet for one dieter may not fit in to the diet of another dieter.
You are probably aware of the recent popularity of low carbohydrate diets, but most doctors seem to agree that you do need a healthy portion of carbohydrates each day, something like 50-60% of your calorie intake. So, instead of cutting out carbohydrates, you should be aiming to keeping them to a sensible proportion of your diet. example of that would be whole grain bread.
